I love that the plan has already disrupted. I had things sketched out pretty well through September and I just dumped the whole thing and decided to drive to the east coast. New plan forming. Embrace the unplanning! And get used to no cell reception. I’m surprised how often that’s the case given cell maps paint the US entirely in color

Well, it started out as "No plan of operations extends with any certainty beyond the first encounter with the main enemy forces." No, I'm not going to put the original German from Moltke in there. It's certainly something I preached in work life and that I apply to life in general. Plans are great! Always have at least 3 or 4 for defense in depth.

Catherine and I both plan that way. It sounds like you mounted a very successful response to the diversion, suffered through the inevitable surprises, and came through to a tactical victory. Frankly, not a whole lot more you can ask for. I'm looking forward to hearing more. And enjoy Nova Scotia...beautiful place!
