Transitions are strange things, full of expectations and "knowing" what the transition is going to be, only to find out that they're full of surprises. I'm hoping the positives and the negatives balance out nicely in your favor, while being confident that your ability to keep on rolling with ensure that good balance.

I believe root river rollers are looking for people….if your path happens to bring you near……..

I'll definitely come to a bout when I'm in Kenosha - I should be there off and on this year!

Yes… a little birdie told me! (In the form of a church e-mail…)

So much in this post resonates with me. I read the title and thought, "I also have too many beans." But for me, too many beans are 4 unopened cans! I do have too many oatmeal supplies, and as they dwindle, I will buy smaller bags in the future. I get it.

I'm finding myself in the second transition model - I've done this once before, but this time feels different. The first time I had a goal of finding a place to live, this time I do not. And not having that goal creates a very different experience - at least so far.

And so, The Way Knows the Way hits home - I've been telling people my only plan is not to have a plan... And, like you're finding, I'm surprised by what's been easy and what's been hard this time around. I look forward to watching your journey unfold!

I look forward to when too many beans is 4 unopened cans!! I know I will be able to pare this all down, but the only way I think I can do it is by living it and seeing what routines and habits develop. Like, if I don't do meal-prep, I definitely won't need dried beans! My goal is to be able to get rid of the cargo carrier "attic" eventually. We will see!

This hit home for me too- lots of transitions I my life currently , and many more to come. I get the spices!
